Chain mortiser CM 100 / CM 150 / CM 200

CM series chain mortisers cut mortises and other rectangular recesses in rafters, purlins, posts and knee braces. They are used in the workshop on solid softwood and hardwood beams and battens, as well as glued laminated timber components. The models differ in maximum mortising depth and in the mortise sizes available with each chain set. The operator places the guide frame on the workpiece and aligns the template with the layout line. Hard-chrome-plated guide columns with plain bearings guide the plunging movement. The adjustable depth stop with graduated scale sets the cutting depth, while air-assisted chip ejection keeps the layout line visible. Longer mortises are cut by repositioning the machine for successive passes. An industrial motor drives the mortising chain. Each machine comes with a guide frame and one chain set in the ordered configuration. The set comprises the mortising chain, chain guide bar and drive sprocket. A side stop and replacement mortising chains are available as options.
