Fimal P45 sliding table saw

The Fimal P45 is a sliding table saw with a scoring unit for squaring particleboard, MDF, plywood, melamine-faced panels and veneered boards. It also makes straight and bevel cuts in solid wood. The anodised aluminium sliding table runs on ball bearings and can be locked in any position while the workpiece is loaded. Main blade raising is motorised. For bevel cuts, the operator sets the tilt by handwheel and reads the angle on the indicator at the front of the machine. The scoring unit has its own motor and can be adjusted horizontally and vertically with the main blade upright or tilted. The rip fence has micrometric adjustment and swings clear of the table for large panels. The crosscut fence on the extension table has fixed reference positions for angled cuts, and an eccentric clamp holds the workpiece. The overhead blade guard can be removed quickly. An optional pneumatic pressure beam holds thin or veneered materials for cutting in stacks. A longer sliding table and a motorised rip fence with electronic display are also available.
