About this machine

This used Format-4 sliding table saw is designed for sizing panels and for ripping and crosscutting solid wood. It suits joinery and furniture workshops working with particleboard, MDF, melamine-faced panels and veneered boards. The scoring blade makes a shallow cut on the underside of the panel ahead of the main blade to reduce chipping of the surface layer. The operator sets the motorised blade height and tilt from the control panel. Separate digital displays show the height and angle, while an indicator light shows the selected spindle speed. The sliding table runs on roller guidance. The rip fence has micrometric adjustment and a digital display, and the crosscut fence has its own display for setting the cut length. The overhead blade guard is mounted on a support arm and has an extraction connection. The quotation specifies the year of manufacture, location and identification details of the machine offered.
