Fimal S 53 N thicknesser

The Fimal S 53 N is a thicknesser for solid wood. The workpiece rests on the table with its previously planed face down. Feed rollers carry it through the machine while the cutterblock planes the upper face to the required thickness. The operator adjusts the table height using push-button controls. The table runs on lifting screws supported at both ends, with adjustable side guides to take up play. The top cover opens from the front for knife changes and cleaning. The chip extraction outlet can face left or right. An optional frequency inverter allows the operator to vary the feed speed. An electronic table height display and electronic table positioning are available as separate options. Other options include a Tersa cutterblock, a helical cutterblock, pneumatic feed roller pressure adjustment and an outfeed table extension to support long workpieces.
