About this machine

The Fimal KR 32 and KR 43 are electronic beam saws for cutting individual panels and panel stacks to size. The models differ in maximum cutting length and in the number of pneumatic grippers fitted to the pusher. The pressure beam holds the material along the cutting line. The saw carriage runs on self-centring prismatic rollers along a hardened guideway. It carries the main blade and a separate scoring unit, each with its own motor. The scoring unit’s height and lateral position can be adjusted from outside the machine. The rack-and-pinion pusher grips the material and positions it for the programmed cut. The pusher position is measured on a magnetic tape. An automatic side aligner squares the workpieces for crosscutting. The numerical control runs the cutting patterns and displays diagnostic messages. Options include front air cushion tables, touchscreen control, extended pusher travel and additional grippers. The quotation specifies the configuration and included options.
