Fimal S 63 A thicknesser

The Fimal S 63 A is a thicknesser for solid wood. The workpiece rests on the table with its previously planed face down. Feed rollers carry it through the machine while the cutterblock planes the upper face to the required thickness. The operator enters the target thickness on the keypad, and the table moves to it by motor when START is pressed. The table runs on lifting screws supported at both ends, with adjustable side guides to take up play. The top cover opens from the front for knife changes and cleaning. The extraction outlet can face left or right. The frequency inverter provides continuously variable feed speed, set with a rotary control on the control panel. Options include a Tersa cutterblock, a helical cutterblock, pneumatic feed roller pressure adjustment, a sectional toothed feed roller, rubber-coated feed rollers, adjustable table rollers and an outfeed table extension to support long workpieces.
