HELEX HE 2800 D six-sided CNC drilling machine

The HELEX HE 2800 D is a six-sided CNC drilling machine for panel furniture production. It drills both main faces and all four edges and machines grooves on both main faces in one cycle, without manual panel turning. The barcode scanner identifies the panel and calls the corresponding machining program. Batch scanning automatically adds the programs to the processing queue. The positioning system aligns the panel, and the clamps hold and move it through the machining area. The clamps have an air-blowing function to remove dust from the clamping area. After machining, the panel is transferred to the rotary sorting platform. The machine has upper and lower drilling units and separate upper and lower machining spindles. Servo-driven axes run on linear guides. The CNC control includes CAM software and allows hole parameters to be edited and machining data to be imported in DXF, MPR and XML formats through compatible interfaces. Integration into an automatic production line is specified for the project configuration.
