About this machine
The HELEX HE L series comprises hydraulic gluing presses for solid wood, used to produce laminated window scantlings, door blanks, laminated solid wood panels and glued laminated beams. The presses handle continuous or finger-jointed softwood and hardwood lamellas, as well as planed strips for edge and face gluing. The models differ in working length and in the number of vertical pressing cylinders and front pressing devices.
The vertical cylinders clamp the lamellas together across the glue lines. The front pressing devices align the package lengthwise and assist with loading and unloading. The lower supports can be raised in steps to position the package for pressing and handling.
Pressure is adjusted at the hydraulic power unit and monitored on pressure gauges. The central push-button panel controls clamping, release and pressure adjustment. The welded box-section steel frame can be divided into two independently operated working sections as an option. The number of pressing stations and the working length within the series range can be specified on request.
