Orbital and brush sanding machine SO 1300

The SO 1300 is an orbital and brush sanding machine for raw wood and primer sanding on flat and profiled surfaces. The standard configuration includes an orbital sanding unit, an oscillating disc brush unit, an oscillating cylindrical brush unit and a non-woven abrasive flap roller. The roller removes sanding marks at the end of the process. At the infeed, the image processing system detects the workpiece and allows the operator to define the areas to be sanded. The orbital unit automatically adjusts its contact pressure and position to account for changes in workpiece height and for workpiece edges. Disc brush height and speed adjust automatically. On the cylindrical brushes, height and rotational speed can be set independently. The operator enters the workpiece thickness on the touchscreen, and the conveyor table adjusts to the corresponding height. The industrial PC stores workpiece images, daily operating data and error logs. The system supports remote data management and machine control. At the outfeed, a movable air-blow cleaning unit removes sanding dust from the workpiece. A cross-brush sanding system and an IoT system for production monitoring are available as options.
