About this machine
The SP 1000 is a brush sanding machine for sanding raw wood before priming and for sanding primer coats. It is used on rustic surfaces and on CNC-carved relief surfaces.
The machine is available in two versions. The two-unit version has a disc brush sanding unit with asymmetrically arranged disc brushes and a cylindrical brush sanding unit whose brushes rotate in opposite directions. The three-unit version additionally has a cross-brush sanding unit. The working position and rotational speed of each unit are steplessly adjustable.
A conveyor belt carries the workpiece through the machine, and spring-loaded pressure rollers hold it down during sanding. The abrasive type and grit are selected to suit the material, the profile and the finishing stage. The machine is operated from a control panel with a display and an emergency stop button.
