Homag automatic edge banding machine

This used Homag automatic edge banding machine applies edging to panels for furniture production. A feed chain carries the panel through the machine, while rollers on the top pressure beam hold it against the chain during machining. After the panel edge has been pre-milled and the panel preheated, a roller applies the glue. A second glue pot allows the operator to change the glue colour or type. A pneumatic guillotine pre-cuts the edging, and side pressure rollers press it onto the panel edge. End trimming saws remove the overhang at the front and rear of the panel. A multi-profile trimming unit trims the top and bottom edges. Finishing includes corner rounding, multi-profile and flat scraping, spraying and buffing. The operator uses the arm-mounted touch screen to set the units through the NC control. The quotation specifies the year of manufacture, location and identification details of the machine offered.
