Universal combination machine CU 300

The CU 300 is a universal combination machine for surface planing, thicknessing, drilling, circular sawing and spindle moulding. It is designed for small and medium-sized joinery workshops working with softwood and hardwood where floor space is limited. The sliding table can also be used to size wood-based panels. During surface planing, the workpiece passes over the cutterblock between the ground grey cast iron tables. The tables lift fully to give access to the thicknesser underneath. With the tables raised, the operator can also access the drilling unit, which has a worktable and lever for drilling holes for joints. The circular saw has an anodised aluminium sliding table and a crosscut fence with a length stop. Blade height and tilt are set manually using a handwheel and scale. The spindle moulder has adjustable fences and hold-downs for profiling, rebating and grooving. Both the saw blade guard and the spindle moulder guard have extraction connections. The machine has independent motors and a control panel with an emergency stop. The quotation specifies the configuration supplied.
