Sawing machines

Straight-line rip saws cut timber along the grain to produce boards, battens and strips of the required width. A single-blade machine makes one cut per pass, with a powered feed moving the material through the cutting area. Edge quality depends on the machine, the saw blade and the condition of the timber.

A multi-rip saw uses several blades mounted on the same shaft to produce multiple pieces in a single pass. Blade spacing determines the width of the pieces, while adjustment options vary between models. These machines are suited to repetitive production of battens and strips.

Our range also includes lamella processing lines that combine several successive operations. The operations included and the transfer between machines are checked for each line configuration.

We select the machine based on timber species and dimensions, the required part widths, daily production volume and cut quality. We also consider infeed, outfeed and subsequent operations such as planing, profiling or gluing.

Delivery, installation, commissioning and operator training are agreed as part of each project, together with the terms of technical support after installation.
